Hello, I’m Amna. Let me share a little of my story with you.
I grew up in Karachi, where the city’s energy and vitality shaped who I am. For university I moved to Lahore to study fashion design, got married, and made it home. For several years I worked in fashion — fully immersed, fully alive in it.
And then motherhood arrived and shifted everything. The high-octane world of fashion gave way to school runs, bedtime stories, and being present in a completely different way. This new chapter was unexpected and sweet, but there was always a quiet part of me that still wanted to grow — to build something, to contribute something beyond the home.
That is how the piñatas happened. What started as wanting to make my son’s birthday a little more magical turned into a business that ran for nearly a decade. It was filled with laughter, late nights, and a lot of learning about balance, boundaries, and what it means to keep showing up for yourself while showing up for everyone else.
By 2020 I was ready for something different. I did not know what exactly — just that something needed to change. A trip to Hunza that year turned out to be the beginning of everything.
There was something about those mountains that made me go very quiet inside. I came back to Lahore feeling a pull toward understanding people more deeply — including myself. I started looking into coaching, into therapy, into the science of how we think and feel and heal.
And so the learning began. NLP was first — and once I started I could not stop. From there came Clinical Hypnotherapy and Strategic Psychotherapy, studied entirely online during the pandemic. Seven in the morning, laptop open, notebook full. Showing up before the world had even opened back up.
Then Dubai and Abu Dhabi — working with wellness centres there while travelling back and forth from Lahore. It was during this time that Inner Child Healing and Reiki found their way into my practice. The learning never stopped. It just kept finding new directions.
One of those directions led me to France, where I completed my mBIT Coach Certification Trainer qualification — something I worked hard for and am genuinely proud of.
And then came Kyoto.
I travelled to the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Japan to train in Jikiden Reiki — the original, traditional Japanese form of Reiki, kept pure and close to its roots. Sitting in that institute in Kyoto, receiving something that had been passed down through an unbroken lineage — it felt like the final piece of something I had been building for years without fully knowing it. I returned to Pakistan as the first and only certified Jikiden Reiki practitioner in the country.
I am still learning. I hope I always am.
What I know for certain is that this work — the coaching, the Reiki, the holding space for people — is where I am meant to be. Not because I have figured everything out, but because I know what it feels like to be searching. And I know how much it matters to have someone in your corner while you find your way back to yourself.
If any part of this resonates with you — I would love to hear from you.
This work is not about fixing you. It never was.
It is about finding your way back to yourself. 🤍
